Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Rozbahi when you use the app or this website.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and W3CTRL, the operator of Rozbahi ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Rozbahi app or website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Rozbahi.

1. The service

Rozbahi helps you record daily expenses and income, organise them by category, set monthly budgets, track recurring bills, share costs in groups and see reports. Records are stored on your phone and synced to our servers so you can use them on more than one device and restore them later.

Rozbahi is a record-keeping tool. It does not move money, does not connect to your bank, and is not a bank, payment service, lender or financial adviser.

2. Who can use Rozbahi

  • You must be 18 or older, or use Rozbahi with the consent and supervision of a parent or lawful guardian who accepts these Terms for you.
  • You must be able to form a binding contract under Indian law and not be barred from using the service under any applicable law.

3. Your account

  • You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). Use a number that belongs to you.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account. Keep your phone secure and never share an OTP; we will never ask you for one.
  • Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • One person per account. Do not create accounts for other people without their permission, or impersonate anyone.

4. Your data

  • You own the records you enter. You give us permission to store, copy, sync, back up and display them only to provide Rozbahi to you and to the group members you choose to share with.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Reports, totals, budget alerts and settle-up amounts are calculated from your entries and are only as correct as those entries.
  • We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Keep your own copy of anything important. We take care to protect your data, but we recommend using the app's backup feature regularly.

5. Shared groups

  • When you join or create a group, the expenses you add to it, your display name and settlements are visible to every member.
  • Only share invite codes with people you trust. The group admin can remove members.
  • Settle-up amounts are suggestions based on what members entered. Payments between members happen outside Rozbahi, and any dispute about them is between the members. We are not a party to arrangements between group members.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Rozbahi for anything unlawful, including money laundering, fraud, or recording proceeds of crime;
  • upload content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringes someone else's rights, or that you have no right to share;
  • try to access another user's account or data, probe or attack our systems, bypass rate limits or security controls, or guess invite codes;
  • copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell or build a competing product from the app, except as the law expressly allows;
  • use bots, scripts or automated tools against our servers, other than the official app;
  • send excessive OTP requests or otherwise overload the service.

7. Price and changes to features

Rozbahi is currently free to download and use. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price clearly before you are charged, and existing records will stay accessible to you. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove a feature that holds your data, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export it.

8. Our intellectual property

The Rozbahi name, logo, app, website, design and software belong to W3CTRL or its licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal or household use, in line with these Terms. Third-party open-source components are covered by their own licences.

9. Third-party services

Rozbahi relies on services from others, such as the app stores, SMS/WhatsApp delivery for OTPs, push notifications and hosting. Their availability is outside our full control, and your use of app stores is also governed by their terms. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

10. Availability and updates

We work to keep Rozbahi available and your data safe, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. Some features need an internet connection. You may need to install updates to keep using the app; very old versions may stop syncing.

11. Not financial advice

Nothing in Rozbahi is financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Budget alerts and reports are informational. Talk to a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including fitness for a particular purpose and that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted;
  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, savings, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Rozbahi;
  • we are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect entries, a lost or compromised device, a forgotten backup PIN, sharing your OTP or invite code, or events beyond our reasonable control;
  • our total liability to you for any claim relating to Rozbahi is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.

13. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and costs (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of Rozbahi, or your violation of someone else's rights.

14. Ending your use

  • You can stop using Rozbahi at any time and delete your account from the app. See how to delete your account.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, is used for fraud or abuse, puts other users or the service at risk, or when the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to download your data.
  • If we ever shut Rozbahi down, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app so you can export or back up your records.
  • Sections that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) survive termination.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by another reasonable method before it takes effect. Continuing to use Rozbahi after that means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally. If we cannot, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer forum.

17. General

  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not waived it.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor operator of Rozbahi, who will be bound by them.
  • These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about Rozbahi.

18. Contact and grievances

Questions or complaints about these Terms, or about content or conduct in Rozbahi, can be sent to our Grievance Officer at [email protected] or through the contact page. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
